Policies and More
Payment. Payment is due in full to secure your order. Payment is required up front so we can source your cute cutters, ingredients, and perfect packaging. 50% of this payment is a non-refundable deposit should you need to cancel. Cancellations must be made 1 week prior to pick up to receive a refund.
Last Minute. While we cannot accommodate all last minute orders, we will make our best efforts to. If possible, book at least 2 weeks in advance, but know our calendar fills up quickly and months in advance at times. Last minute orders are subject to a rush fee.
Pick-Up Date. Pickup dates are set upon ordering. We will not be able to reschedule your order for a different pick-up date once payment has been received. If your event date changes we will give you instructions to freeze your treats to keep them safe until they are needed. This is because other customers need their sweet fix too! If you are unable to pick-up on the agreed upon day please let us know 2 days before pickup. If your order is not picked up, it will be donated.
Delivery. Delivery can be an option within 25 miles of the pick-up location with an additional fee. We love a good drive - bonus if that drive is past a Starbucks.
Refunds. We can offer a 50% refund for cancelled orders which are cancelled 1 week prior to pickup. Refunds ONLY apply to custom orders. While we want you to love your treats, if you are not satisfied with your order, please return all uneaten treats within 24 hours so we can assess their condition and troubleshoot any problems. We will determine if a credit may be refunded for a future order. Refunds are not available for any treats purchased during a presale or pop-up.
COVID Care. We know that you cannot control when you have come in contact with a person who has COVID, and we want to work with you. Need to reschedule your event? We can freeze your treats for 2 weeks so you can stay home and rest.
Inspiration. We love inspirational photos, please send them along! But also please note they’re just that - inspiring. I will not copy another baker’s treats exactly. The treats I design will have my own spin/style applied. Your treats may not be perfect replicas of the inspirational photos you send but we’ll try to keep it close. The best inspirational photos include a color scheme, font, style, pattern, etc. think a wallpaper pattern, invitation, a favorite book, etc. look at the world for inspiration so we can create something unique just for you!
Price Adjustments. All prices are subject to change. Prices are often dictated by ingredient costs. We’re always trying to provide the best tasting treats to our clients. This also means we can’t honor old pricing (because the local grocery store won’t honor their old flour prices - darn it).
Product Photography. Say Cheese! We take photos, lots of photos! If you do not want your treats in the spotlight, please let us know at the time you place your order. Secrets are safe with us.
Cookie Care. Once cookies are picked up, what happens to your cookies is no longer our responsibility. Keep them out of direct sunlight, out of the fridge, and on a cool dry counter. *Other treat care will be given as needed.
Macaron Care. Once macarons are picked up, what happens to your macarons is no longer our responsibility. Keep them out of direct sunlight, and in an air-tight container in the refrigerator until 30 minutes before serving. If serving another day, macarons can be frozen in an air-tight container. Be sure to thaw in refrigerator.
Shipping. We are able to ship. Shipping rates start at $15 and go up depending on the size of the order. We do our best to package these cookies for a rough ride, but broken cookies are a possibility and a non-refundable risk you take when placing a shipped order. Also - while we ship priority, we cannot guarantee that “rain, sleet, snow, or hail” won’t delay your order. Refunds will not be offered for any late arrivals. Once tracking information is provided, claims for lost orders can be placed with USPS.
We are unable to ship macarons at this time.
Food Freedom Act. Our products are made in a home kitchen that has not been subject to a standard inspection criteria. Our kitchen is not nut free, egg free, dairy free, or gluten free. You agree to notify your guests of this risk and hold us harmless for allergic reactions.
